Now the bad news: despite the fact that we and many other publications were led to believe that the MINI Crossover will also be unveiled at Frankfurt, well, that’s the bad news part. According to MINI, the first crossover coming out of the Oxford gates will debut in early 2010.

Sources indicate that the Crossover model will play a big role in MINI’s future strategy and will serve as basis for many other models to come.

As some of you might remember, the MINI Crossover Concept made its debut last October at the Paris Auto Show and if we were to guess on a future venue for its launch, we would go with Detroit.
