E32 Became the second generation of a 7-series. The car has shown all achievements of mark BMW of that time and has set a new course for other manufacturers. For the first time on the car of such class engine V12 has been established.

The new model differed high quality of assembly. Thanks to it and the hi-tech engine in interior it was not audible noise.

The first had been presented model 735i which had рядный 6 cylinder engine M30 capacity of 220 h.p. the Following seven was extended on 100 mm. Model 735iL. The car strongly differed from the predecessor. Devices became more convenient, the panel of devices is more ergonomic.

In 1987 versions 730i, 750i and 750iL have been presented. Cars with engines of 3 and 3.4 litres were completed 5-step mechanical and 4-step automatic with transmissions. On cars with engine V12 put only "automatic machine" with an electrohydraulic control.

BMW E38 - the new leader of the company which have come in the stead E32 in 1994. The design of the new seven was in many respects defined by the previous model, but E38 became even more comfortable. Exclusive models 740iL and 750iL have extended on 140 mm. Base, and version 750 XLA on 390мм. Armour versions of the seven Also were issued. In the end of 1998 the model has undergone to small restyling.

Seduction, BMW tells us, is the name of the game in the modern roadster market. Demographic evidence and customer confessions suggest that hardly anyone actually needs a wind-in-the-hair car with a small trunk and just two seats, so people have a lot of time to stroke their chins, consult the position of the planets and think about the purchase. We aren't talking corn harvesters or fire trucks here. Buyers have to fall in love.

"The roadster market has always been volatile," BMW's Klaus Borgman told us at the launch of the new Z4 near Alicante, Spain. "Roadsters are an emotional purchase," he said, "so sales depend on what's offered at the time. It's the concept that decides."

And this year BMW has decided to broaden the concept by restyling the Z4 and offering a little more space and luxury, along with an all-season retractable hardtop — thereby replacing the previous Z4 Coupe and Roadster with a single, do-everything model.

There have been five generations of the 7 Series BMW:

* BMW E23 (1977–1986)
* BMW E32 (1987–1994)
* BMW E38 (1994–2001)
* BMW E65/E66 (2002–2008)
* BMW F01 (2009-present)

The E38 BMW 7 series sedan was introduced to the US market with the 1995 model year last year of production was 2001. The E38 was considered to be the best seven series produced by BMW thanks to it’s flawless design and amazing character, this vehicle was truly a grown up luxury sports sedan with it’s driver oriented interior and amazing handling mixed with perfect luxury.

BMW offered two versions the i - short wheel base and the 6” longer il versions. The il is easily recognizable of it’s long passenger window. For the US market two engine variants were offered the 4.4 liter V8 in the 740i and 740il and the 5.4 V12 engine in the 750il, the V12 was never offered to US customers with the short wheel base version.

The fourth generation of BMW's 3-Series compact sedan started in September 1998.

The baseline was the 318i with 4 cylinders, with a capacity closer to 1.9 litres.

Engine produce 87 kW and 180 Nm, and e46 price was $52,950 for the five-speed manual and the four-speed auto - $1700 more.

The 2.5-litre six-cylinder 125 kW/ 245 Nm 323i cost $66,900 as a five-speed manual, adding $2500 for the five-speed auto. The auto-only 142 kW/280 Nm 328i - a 2.8-litre - topped the range at $84,950.

BMW E46 was designed as a modern replacement for the aging BMW 3 series E36. DesignWorksUSA take part in creation the exterior body E46. Based on the BMW E36 body shell, the design team put an emphasis on improving aerodynamics and increasing the cars aggressive stance.

An emphasis was put on reducing unsprung weight and structural rigidity rather than increasing power output - the highest displacement model at release, the E46 328, had only 3 horsepower more than the E36 328. To counter this small power increase, the body shell of the E46 was claimed by BMW to be 70% more rigid than the E36's, and aluminum suspension components were used increasingly in order to decrease unsprung weight. In tune with BMW's core values, the E46 was released with a front engined rear-wheel drive layout with 50/50 weight distribution. This balance allows for optimal handling in regards to the drive train layout.
