Of course the main advantage to using national rather than local rental car companies is the range of vehicles that they can offer you. In most cases they will have not only cars to fit your budget but also that will accommodate all those travelling with you comfortably. Plus because the range of vehicles is much greater you will find that the fees they charge for hiring from them tend to generally be less than the local companies can offer.

But although using national car rental companies is recommended. It is still advisable to do some research beforehand. Plus don't be afraid to compare the services of all the companies where you intend to go on holiday.
